Inquiry into Language
The students practiced the formation and sound of the blend sound AR. We put our thinking caps on and brainstormed words and names that had the AR blend. The students practiced printing in their printing booklets.
Inquiry into Math
The students continued learning more about time, today the students were introduced to time by the half hour. The students created their own analog clocks using paper and Popsicle sticks. The SK's used their clocks to help them with an activity sheet.
Unit of Inquiry
The students continued learning more about Community Helpers unit. The students brainstormed what they already know about postal workers and watched a video to learn more about postal workers. We worked as a class to answer questions on an activity sheet (who, what, where, etc).
