Wonderful Wednesday!

We welcomed back Aishini from a long trip that she took, she shared some stories about her experience with the class  and the students had a lot of questions to ask.

Language
The students practiced the formation and sound of the letter Ee.  The students practiced printing upper and lower case letter Ee and short words that begin with the letter Ee in their printing books.  We also enjoyed an eye spy game, finding pictures in our large Jolly Phonics book, that begins with the letter Ee

Unit of Inquiry
The students took a break from our Pumpkin Investigation and worked on a Fall art activity.  The students listened to a a read aloud titled Fall Tress and used a variety of art materials to create our own Fall tress.

Math
The SK's continued learning more about Patterns!  Today the students practiced their ABCD patterns skills, we worked other as a class and used manipulatives to show our understanding, the students worked in groups as well.  The SK's showed their understanding with an activity sheet.
