Language
The students practiced the formation and sound of the blend CK.  The students practiced printing upper and lower case blend CK and short words that end with the blend CK in their printing books.  We also enjoyed an eye spy game, finding pictures in our large Jolly Phonics book, that end with the blend CK.

Unit of Inquiry
The students enjoyed our new unit about the season Fall.  We began our pumpkin investigation and used our senses to explore a real pumpkin!  The students also worked on an activity booklet and recorded their observations.

Math
The SK's started our new Math unit on Patterning!  The students participated in group activities using manipulatives to practice creating ABC patterns.  The SK's also worked on an activity sheet to show their understanding.

We did not have Library time with Hayward today, she had to cover for another teacher that was absent.
