Fun Friday!

Language
The students enjoyed Reading Buddies with the grade 4 students.

Unit of Inquiry
The students were engaged with a Write the Room activity! They worked with partners to find the matching words and pictures with their activity sheet, the students had to print the correct word with the correct picture.

Math
The SK's worked on a Patterning pre-test for the next unit.

Sharing the Planet:

An inquiry into rights and responsibilities in the struggle to share finite resources with other people and with other living things; communities and the relationships within and between them; access to equal opportunities; peace and conflict resolution

Central Idea: Farms are providers of many of our daily nutritional needs.

Lines of Inquiry:

· The steps involved in getting food to our tables

· The inquiry into the benefits of edible plant parts.

· Into why we need a variety of different farms.

Where We are in Place and Time:

An inquiry into orientation in place and time; personal histories; homes and journeys; the discoveries, explorations and migrations of humankind; the relationships between and the interconnectedness of individuals and civilizations, from local and global perspectives.
