Language
The students reviewed the formation and sound of the letter S. The students practiced printing upper and lower case letter S and circled short s words with an activity sheet. We enjoyed exploring a search and find game using s word picture cards. Each of the students had the opportunity to find a card hidden in the classroom and practiced spelling the word.
Unit of Inquiry
The students finished their Little Red Hen sequencing activity and listen to another read a loud story about the farm.
Math
The SK's worked in their Math Makes Sense work books and practiced as a class, the formation, value and spelling of numbers from 1 to 10.
