We started our day with a fun house game that had students are teachers participating.
Language
The students worked independently in their Journals with sentence writing, the SK's reviewed writing skills that focused on finger spacing, letter placement and neatness. They copied a simple sentence on the board and completed it by writing their names.
The students also worked a name art project using construction paper and glue.
Math
The SK's worked on their number recognition skills with a number game and practiced printing and spelling numbers from 1 to 4.

Reminders:
-Welcome BBQ forms are going home in the agenda bags and are to be returned by September 13th. The BBQ will take place on September 19th from 4-5:30 pm.
-Chudleigh's Farm trip form is due September 13th. The trip will take place October 8th.
-Scholastic book orders are due September 11th.
