Inquiry into Language
The SK's practiced the sound and formation of the blend sound ir. The SK's brainstormed words that have the ir blend and practiced their sentence writing, by creating four simple sentences using ir words.

UOI
We worked on an Earth Day activity package. The students had to colour the front page, create a sentence that answers the question: How can we help keep our planet clean? Also, students worked on a word search.
Daily 5
The students were engaged in Literacy Centers with partners.
Math
The SK's continued learning more about Measurement. The students worked on the terms longest and shortest, they worked with partners on an activity sheet and used manipulative.
