Inquiry into Language
The SK's practiced the sound and formation of the letter Ww. The students brainstormed names and words that begin with the letter Ww. They also worked on printing short w words and a sentence in their Journals and used play dough the create the letter Ww. Here is the Jolly Phonics Ww song:Letter Ww song
Gym
Ms. Yustin was back today and they continued their gross motor activities focused on yoga and gymnastics.
French

UOI
We continued our Space unit and focused our learning about the planet Jupiter. The students listened to a read aloud about Jupiter and worked on an art activity using construction paper and pastel colours.
Daily 5
The SK's were engaged in Literacy Centers today, with books and puzzles.
Math
The students continued our new Math unit on Addition. The students took turns working on addition equations on the board and worked with partners in their math books.
Reminders:
-Parent & Teacher interviews take place on Thursday, December 6th. It is not mandatory.
-Primary Christmas concert is on Tuesday, December 11th at 6:30 pm, there is also an afternoon concert at 1:30 pm.
-Bake Sale & Casual Day: Wednesday, December 19th.
-Christmas Holiday begins on Friday, December 21st.
