Happy Monday!

We are gearing up for another busy week!

Inquiry into Language
The SK's practiced the sound and formation of the letter Jj. The students brainstormed words that end with the letter Jj and practiced printing in their Journals.  The students worked on an activity sheet with partners and had to find words that begin with the letter Jj.  Here is the link to the Jolly Phonics Letter Jj song:Jolly Phonics letter Jj

Ms. Yustin had the students begin a new unit today, they enjoyed exploring gymnastics!

Mlle. Hou taught the students the five senses vocabulary in French.  Her is the link to her website:

We continued our Space unit and focused our learning about rocket ships.  Today the students watched a video about rocket ships and how they get to space.  We worked on an art rocket ship activity, using black construction paper and white pastels.

The SK's were engaged in Literacy Centers today, with books and puzzles.

The students continued to review for the test on Wednesday.  The students were engaged with a tally and graphing activity.  The SK's worked in partners to complete the activity.

-Data Management test: Wednesday, November 28th.
-Bake Sale: November 27th & 28th.
-Dress down day: Wednesday, November 28th.
-To prepare for the upcoming Christmas Concert, I would like parents to begin purchasing a pair of reindeer antlers for their child (costume for the Christmas Concert).  Students are also going to be wearing black/ brown clothing for the concert.
-Spelling test for the month of November: Friday, November 30th.
-Report Cards will be going home on Friday, November 30th.
