Windy Wednesday!

Inquiry into Language
The SK's practiced the sound and formation of the letter Ee, the students also brainstormed short words that begin with the letter Ee.  The students practiced their printing short Ee words in their Journals. Here is the link to the Jolly Phonics Letter Ee song:Jolly Phonics Letter Ee song

Gym
Ms. Yustin had the students engaged in a variety of gross motor and team building activities.

French
Mlle. Hou continued to teach the students about farm animals in French.

Unit of Inquiry
The students listened to a read a loud story titled The Pumpkin Fair Problem that looked at fun things that we do in fall.  We brainstormed things that we see, touch, smell and hear in the fall and the students created a fall picture using construction paper and crayons.

Music
 Mr. Flower gave the students a second try with the Music Test.

Math
The students continued to work on patterning, today we focused on ABCD pattern.  The students had to create sound patterns using their bodies and voices.  We also showed our understanding with an activity sheet.

Reminders:
-Picture Day is on Thursday, October 25th.
-Spelling test is on Friday, October 26th.
-Casual Day and Bake Sale are on Tuesday, October 30th.
-Spirit/Halloween Day students can dress up in their costumes, please no masks and weapons.
