The SK's were excited to share their experiences from yesterday's Year a Head Day and what they did in Ms. Gandy's grade 1 class.

Inquiry into Language
The students practiced the formation and sound of the blend sound OO.  We put our thinking caps on and brainstormed words that have the blend sound OO.  The students practiced their printing skills with their printing booklets.  The SK's looked in the large Jolly Phonics book to look for pictures that have the OO sound.

Inquiry into Math
The students continued learning more about time by the hour.  The students used the mini clocks and practiced printing and reading time by the hour with an activity sheet.

Unit of Inquiry
The students started their Valentine's Day art activity.
