We started our morning watching our peers present their poems for the Oral competition. We are so proud of all the students and the winners!
Inquiry into Language
The students continued to practice the formation and sound of the blend EE. The students brainstormed words that had the EE blend and we discussed as a class the meaning of each word. The students worked with partners with a cutting and pasting matching activity, to match EE blend words with the correct pictures.
Inquiry into Math
The students continued learning more about Time! The students worked with partners and practiced their time recognition skills, they used mini analog clocks to assist their learning. The SK's worked on a matching activity sheet, they had to match the correct analog time to digital time.
Unit of Inquiry
We continued our Community Helper theme with a "When I Grow Up" writing activity.
