Wonderful Wednesday!

We started our morning having Reading Buddies with the grade 4 students.

Language
The students practiced the formation and sound of the letter Bb. The students practiced printing upper and lower case letter Bb and short words that begin with the letter Bb in their printing books. We also enjoyed an eye spy game, finding pictures in our large Jolly Phonics book, that begins with the letter Bb.

Science Fair
The students continued learning more about our science experiment, about matter and the different sates of matter (solid, liquid and gas). The SK's reviewed with a sharing circle what we learned about yesterday and was introduced to the 6 steps of the Scientific Method. We shared examples for each step and students worked with partners on an activity sheet. The SK's were also introduced to the materials that we will be using for our experiment and began recording our hypothesis in our experiment activity sheet.

Math
The SK's continued learning more about Patterns! Today the students practiced completing a variety of patterns with an activity sheet and working with partners.

Gym

Library
We did not have Library time with Ms. Hayward, she was away sick.
