Thankful Thursday!

Language
The students practiced the formation and sound of the blend sound ll.  We practiced our reading skills by blending ll words together and looking for words that rhyme as well.  The students worked with partners with an ll blend activity sheet.

Unit of Inquiry
The students continued learning more about Space!  Today we followed up with a questions that the students came up with and wanted to challenge themselves by researching for the answer at home ("Is Pluto a planet? Did it disappear?)  We had a sharing circle and discussed our ideas and findings as a class.  The students also worked on a Big Dipper activity, by watching a video about the Big Dipper and working on a fill in the blanks writing activity.

Math
The SK's continued learning more about Data Management!  The students worked with partners with a probability activity in their Math books.  The students had to answer the question "show two things your friends always, sometimes and never do at school."  The students had to used pictures, numbers or words to show their answers.
