Terrific Tuesday!

We started our morning with our Science Fair Awards ceremony, congratulations to all the winners!  Our class did not place, but I was so proud of the students and all that they accomplished!  We also continued practicing for the upcoming Christmas concert.

Language
The students practiced the formation and sound of the letter Ll.  The students brainstormed words that began and had the letter Ll sound in it.  The SK's wrote 5 or more Ll words and had to draw a picture beside each one in their Journals.

Unit of Inquiry
The students continued learning more about Space!  We finished our "I would get the moon for.." activity from yesterday.

Math
The SK's continued learning more about Data Management!  The students worked with partners with a tallying and graphing activity. The students had to find out what kinds of pets the students had at home and which pet was the most.  The students had to collect data by asking each of their peers, tally and then graph their information.
