Language

The students practiced the formation and sound of the letter Ll.  The students practiced printing upper and lower case letter Ll and short words that end with the letter Ll in their printing books.  We also enjoyed an eye spy game, finding pictures in our large Jolly Phonics book, that end with the letter Ll.

Unit of Inquiry

The students enjoyed learning more about our Space unit!  We had a sharing circle and reviewed what we learned about the phases of the moon.  The students watched a video version of the book Papa, Please Take me to the Moon.  The students worked on a writing and art activity based on the book.

Math

The students continued working on their Data Management unit.  The students practiced their tallying and graphing skills with an activity in their Math books.
