Wonderful Wednesday,

We all had a great first day of school! We started our day with singing O Canada and announcements in the morning. We enjoyed reading buddies with the grade 4's and had our good morning circle and calendar. We played a name game and got to know each other more with a "Find a Friend" activity. We created and signed our classroom rules and explored centers with our new friends. The SK's also enjoyed French, Gym and Music class. We ended our day with a fun house game!

Reminders:
-Welcome BBQ forms are going home in the agenda bags and are to be returned by September 13th. The BBQ will take place on September 19th from 4-5:30 pm.
-Tomorrow students are to wear their regular school uniforms.
-On Friday, September 6th, students can wear their house colours for House Colours Dress Up Day!

How We Express Ourselves:

An inquiry into the ways in which we discover and express ideas, feelings, nature, culture, beliefs and values; the ways in which we reflect on, extend and enjoy our creativity; our appreciation of the aesthetic

Central Idea: We can express our feelings & emotions in many different ways throughout the year.

· How our senses allow us to investigate our environment.
