Wonderful Wednesday!

Today during our Fall Fundraiser assembly, the top students who brought in the most fundraising money got to put makeup on Mr. Oliver's face!

Language
The students practiced the formation and sound of the letter Nn.  The students practiced printing upper and lower case letter Nn and short words that begin with the letter Nn in their printing books.  We enjoyed an eye spy game, finding pictures in our large Jolly Phonics book, that begins with the letter Nn.  The students also practiced their sentence writing skills in their Journals.

Unit of Inquiry
We reviewed what we learned about parts of a plant and the needs of  plant, we had fun growing our own seeds!  Each of the students had the opportunity to plant heir own seed and will be responsible for taking care if in in class.

Math
The SK's focused on the terms less and more, we worked together on a few examples as a class and the SK's worked in their Math books.
