Inquiry into Language

The SK's practiced the formation and sound of the long e and silent e.  The students worked together to match and colour the same long e and silent e words.  The students also practicing printing long e and silent e words with an activity sheet.

UOI

The students continued our UOI on Seasons (Summer).  The SK's worked on a summer themed sequencing and writing activity.

Daily 5

The students were engaged in Literacy Centers with partners.

Math

The SK's continued our unit in Geometry (3D shapes).  The students worked in groups to classify and group 3D shapes, using picture cards.  I only gave them the instructions and the students had to work together to determine what jobs each student in their group will have.  There were a lot of problem solving skills used for this activity.

Music
The students enjoyed music class with Ms. McMillan.
