Inquiry into Language
The SK's practiced the sound and formation of the blend sound ou. The SK's brainstormed words that have the ou blend and practiced printing and creating simple sentence sin their printing books. The students also worked with partners and were engaged with a challenging word search.

UOI
We continued our UOI on Community Helpers! The students looked over their summative questions and answers and practiced for their presentation.
Daily 5
The students were engaged in Literacy Centers with partners, reading buddies with the grade four students and Library with Ms. Hayward.
Math
The SK's continued reviewing Canadian money (coins). Today the students reviewed the value of a Dime and Quarter and worked in groups with manipulatives.
