We continued our UOI on Community Helpers!  We started our morning with a question and answer meeting with Ms. Hayward, so that we can learn more about Librarians and how they help in the community.  The students had a lot of questions to ask and Ms. Hayward did a great job answering them all!  The SK's also worked on a Librarian sentence activity and created their own bookmarks.

Daily 5
The students were engaged in Literacy Centers with partners today.

The SK's continued learning about Canadian money (coins).  Today the students were introduced to the Dime.  We talked about how to spell "Dime," the different pictures that are on a it and its value.  The students worked on practicing counting by 10's with an activity sheet.
