Happy Valentines Day!

We had a fun and busy day today! We started our day participating in the Jump for Heart fundraiser, the students were engaged in jump rope stations and took turns with each activity. The students decorated Valentine bags that they used to hold all of their treats! The SK's also were busy with Valentine themed activity booklet that had the students work on sentence printing and math review. We ended our day with the students passing out their treats to their friends.

Reminders:
-The school will be closed for a PD day and Family day on February 15th & 18th.
-Math Time test is on Friday, February 22nd.
-Bake Sake: February 26th & 27th.
-Spelling test is on Thursday, February 28th.

-Pancake Day is on March 5th.

How We Express Ourselves:

An inquiry into the ways in which we discover and express ideas, feelings, nature, culture, beliefs and values; the ways in which we reflect on, extend and enjoy our creativity; our appreciation of the aesthetic

Central Idea: We can express our feelings & emotions in many different ways throughout the year.

Lines of Inquiry:

· Why people experience different feelings.

· How our senses allow us to investigate our environment.
