We made it to Wednesday!


Inquiry into Language
The SK's practiced the sound and formation of the blend sound ss. The students had turns sounding out and reading words that end with the ss blend.  The students worked on their printing skills in their Journals, some students have began trying to print sentences on their own.

Gym
Ms. Yustin had the students continued exploring gymnastics and yoga!

French
Mlle. Hou taught the students the five senses vocabulary in French.  Her is the link to her website: http://mllehousja.blogspot.ca/

UOI
We continued our Space unit and focused our learning about the planets Mercury and Venus.  The students listened to a read a loud story that taught them more about both planets and worked on an art activity.  We also discussed the Mars landing that happened earlier this week!  I showed them a video and we had a sharing circle.

Daily 5
The SK's were engaged in Literacy Centers today, with books and puzzles.

Math
The students worked on their Data Management test.

Reminders: 
-Spelling test for the month of November: Friday, November 30th.
-Report Cards will be going home on Friday, November 30th.
