I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend! We have a busy week coming up with Summative presentations on October 11th and 12th, as well as a Number Relations Math Test on Friday, October 12th.

Inquiry into Language
The SK's learned the formation, sound and brainstormed words that began with the letter Gg. The students also worked in their Printing Booklets and on a worksheet.

Gym
Ms. Yustin is away this week, Ms. Bancud will be in for her all week.
French
Mlle. Hou continued to teach the students about farm animals in French.
Unit of Inquiry
I reviewed the expectations for the Summative Assignment with the students and what is to be expected for their presentations. The Students were engaged with a matching activity that reviewed where do the foods that we eat come from.
Daily 5
The students read books with a partner or individually.
Math
All week we will be reviewing what we have already learned to prepare us for the Numbers Relations Test on Friday.
Reminders:
-Chudleigh's Apple Farm trip will take place October 15th. Students are to wear gym clothes on that day.
-Friday, October 5th and Monday, October 8th, the school will be closed.
-Summative Assignment Presentations are due and will take place on Thursday, October 11th and Friday, October 12th.
-Dairy Farmers of Ontario presentation will take place October 10th.
-Number Relations Test will take place on Friday, October 12th. Review packages are going home today, it is not mandatory. We will be reviewing at school as well.
