Letters of the week: i & n
We started our day watching a video about Terry Fox, to prepare us for our school Terry Fox Run tomorrow. Thank you to those who have donated for the cause, we will still be accepting donations tomorrow. The SK's also had fun showing off their clothes today with a fashion show! Each student had the opportunity to tell the class something special about what they were wearing and the rest of the class participated by saying nice things about what they were wearing. To get us ready for Friday's Orange t-shirt Day, everyone in the class got to decorate an orange strip of paper that will be used to make a school link. The orange link is to represent that" all children matter".
Inquiry into Language
The SK worked on the formation, sound and words that began with the letter Nn. We listened and did the actions to the letter Nn Jolly Phonics song and practiced printing the upper, lower case letter and short word that began with the letter n.
