Letters of the week: t and p
Happy Birthday Vivahn!
Hello SK parents we are halfway through he week! We have chosen to represent Jamaica for International Day, it would be very helpful if everyone could bring in something for our class presentation (pictures, toys, clothing, foods, etc.).
Inquiry into Language
The SK focused on learning the formation, sound and words that began with the letter p. We listened and did the actions to the letter p Jolly Phonics song and worked in our printing booklets. The students also brainstormed words that began with the letter p.

Ms. Yurin had the students engaged with a variety of gross motor activities.
Mlle. Hou continued to teach the students counting in French.
Unit of Inquiry
The students continued learning more about the process of how milk from the grocery store, comes from cows on the farm. We worked on an activity sheet and had the students engaged in acting out each step and singing the Farmer on the Dell song.
The students practiced printing on white boards and tried to spell and read out the words they wrote.
The SK's continued to work on ten frame counting, using manipulative and on our Math books. The students had to add or take away one/two.
