Letters of the week: i & n
I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend! The weather is getting colder outside, just a reminder for students to dress accordingly and to please label everything! Our first SK Spelling Test will take place Friday, September 28th.
Inquiry into Language
The SK worked on the formation, sound and words that begin with the letter Ii. We listened and did the actions to the letter Ii Jolly Phonics song and wrote three words in our Journals.

Gym
Ms. Yurin was a way with the school Golf Team, Ms. Bancud taught the students today.
French
Mlle. Hou continued to teach the students items around the classroom in French.
Unit of Inquiry
We started a new focus of our Down on the Farm unit, this week we will learn ore about plants! Today we shared what we already know about parts of a plant and worked on a matching activity.
Music
Mr. Flower's had the students participate in a variety of songs and continued to teach them simple music notes.
Daily 5
The students enjoyed our weekly Reading Buddies with Ms. Arandia's grade 4 class.
Math
The SK's continued to learn more about representing numbers from 10 to 20. The students participated in a class game using manipulative and worked in their Math books.

Reminders:
-Casual Day is on September 26th.
-Terry For Run will take place September 28th, the whole school will participate. Forms and donations are due September 26th.
-Chudleigh's Apple Farm trip will take place October 15th. Trip forms are to be sent in by September 28th. We need at least 3 parent volunteer for the trip, if you are interested please contact me.
-Uniform shoes: black shoes are to be worn with all navy socks and gym shoes are to be worn with all white socks.
-Orange Shirt Day is on September 28th.
-International Day is on October 4th. If there are any parents that would like to volunteer, please let me know.
