Fantastic Friday!

We started our morning with an October Knowledgeable award ceremony.  Congratulations to all the winners!  The students also did a great job presenting their Show & Shares for the letters Uu & Rr.

Language
The students continued learning about the letter Rr, we took a break yesterday because of all the Halloween activities.  Students reviewed sound and formation of the letter Rr and worked with partners on a word search activity sheet.

Unit of Inquiry
The students participated in a sharing circle that had the students talking about their Halloween trick or treating experiences last night and the different senses they used and how they used them.

Math
The SK's continued practicing their Patterning skills.  Today the students focused on a variety of patterns with a cutting and pasting activity.  The students worked with partners or in groups and completed each picture pattern.
