Tremendous Tuesday!

During our morning assembly, we celebrated the students and teachers who had birthday's in September. They got to choose a special prize from the birthday box!

Language
The students reviewed the formation and sound of the letter Mm. The students practiced printing upper and lower case letter Mm and circled Mm words with an activity sheet. The students also had to determine which pictures began with the letter Mm.

Unit of Inquiry
The students continued to work on the rough copy written section of their Down on the Farm summative assignment.

Math
The SK's worked on ordinal numbers, we first were engaged as a class with a game! The students had to stand in a line and each had to say what order they were in. The students also practiced what they had learned with an activity package.

Library
The students enjoyed Library time with Ms. Hayward.

Sharing the Planet:

Central Idea: Farms are providers of many of our daily nutritional needs.

Lines of Inquiry:
