Language
The students practiced the formation and sound of the letter Gg.  The students practiced printing upper and lower case letter Gg and short words that begin with the letter Gg in their printing books.  We also enjoyed an eye spy game, finding pictures in our large Jolly Phonics book, that begins with the letter Gg.

Unit of Inquiry
To get us ready for our class trip to the apple farm tomorrow, the students listened to a read a loud story that was titled Our Trip to the Apple Farm.  The students practiced their early reading skills and sequencing skills with an apple booklet activity.

Math
The SK's practiced their simple word problem skills, we worked together on an apple picking word question.  The students used manipulatives to help answer the questions and worked on an activity sheet.
