Fantastic Friday!

We started our day with Show & Share and a few students presented their favourite toys to the class.

Inquiry into Language

The SK's practiced the sound and formation of the blend sound ew and worked with partners with a cutting and pasting activity. The students had to match ew words with the corresponding pictures.

French

Gym

Here is a link to Ms. Yustin's blog :http://sjaayustin.blogspot.com/. Ms. Yustin was away for Track & field, the SK's were busy with gross motor Go Noodle activities in the classroom.

UOI

The students continued our UOI on Spring. The SK's were engaged with a write the room activity with spring themed rhyming words.

Daily 5

The students were engaged in Literacy Centers with partners.

Math

The SK's were focused with their Measurement Math Test.

Sharing the Planet:

How We Express Ourselves:

An inquiry into the ways in which we discover and express ideas, feelings, nature, culture, beliefs and values; the ways in which we reflect on, extend and enjoy our creativity; our appreciation of the aesthetic

Central Idea: We can express our feelings & emotions in many different ways throughout the year.

Lines of Inquiry:

· Why people experience different feelings.

· How our senses allow us to investigate our environment.
