Wacky Wednesday!

The students had fun dressing up today!  We also participated in a house game in the afternoon.

Inquiry into Language
The SK's practiced the formation, sound and short words of the blend sound ear.  The students brainstormed words with both ear sounds and worked with partners to practice their sentence printing skills.

Daily 5
The students were engaged in Literacy Centers with partners today.

Math
The SK's continued learning about Canadian money (coins).  The students reviewed what we learned about pennies and had fun with a "Mrs. Blair's Store" activity.  The students took turns purchasing items from my store and paying with pretend pennies.  The SK's also worked with partners on activity sheets.
