A few reminders for tomorrow's graduation ceremony:

*For the Promotion Ceremony, all students will be called on stage to receive their promotion certificate. Only 4 students will receive an academic award for an outstanding achievement throughout the year. There will be no time to take pictures on stage, pictures will be taken as a class group after receiving the certificate.

After the ceremony, we will return to school to finish off the day, but parents are welcome to pick up their child after the ceremony (around 11am), just let me know.

*If you are picking up your child after the graduation ceremony, parents are to go back to the school to pick up their child's back pack, report card and any other belongings.  Students are also to be signed out at the front desk.

*Students are to be at school tomorrow before 8:45 am, the bus will be leaving the school to drop us off at the dome for 8:45 am.

We had so much fun today during our End of Year Play Day!!!

We started our day finishing our Father's Day crafts and the students had so much fun with our Water Day!

We started our day with Reading Buddies with the grade 4 students and finished up our last summative presentation.  Our class enjoyed a group building activity by Mr. Oliver, the students had to build a tall structure as a team only using the materials that was presented to them.  We also worked on a Father's Day craft and ended our day with a writing activity.

-         Tuesday, June 11^th – Water Day for the SK's (apply sunscreen before coming to school, wear a bathing suit under your casual clothes, bring a towel and a hat). J

Let's Go Raptors!!!

The students started our day with a summative presentation by one of the students and worked with partners on a long o and silent e cutting and pasting activity.  The students had to match the correct word with the picture.  The SK's worked on a summer writing activity and practiced their sentence writing and spelling skills.  We also enjoyed gym, french class and music for the day.

Raptors win!!!!

We started our day with some phonics and printing practice, the students worked on printing short long o and silent e words in their books.  They also worked with partners with a fill in the blanks sentence activity, the students took turns reading each sentence and choosing the correct word that completes each sentence.  The SK's worked on another seasons activity, the students had to classify pictures and determine which season it belonged in.  We ended our day with math and UOI centers, the students worked in groups.

Let's Go Raptors!!!

We had a fun morning during our announcements because the whole school was cheering on for the Toronto Raptors!  We continued with presentations for the last summative, they students worked on their Geometry test and the SK's worked on a seasons classifying activity sheet.  We ended our day with music class with Mrs. McMillan.
